Xiaomi’s new device from the fun category, Xiaomi Play has debuted in India, and it’s the first from company’s Play series which is targeted at smartphone gamers. The smartphone is speculated as the Chinese version of the Poco F1 and is priced 19,999 that was launched in India in August.
“New mobile phone, released, Xiaomi Play comes with traffic, may be the Christmas gift you want most,” Xiaomi stated.
The Play series will now join the Xiaomi Mi and Redmi families. Xiaomi Play is likely to compete with the Huawei sub-brand Honor Play, although the company also has the Black Shark range to target gaming market.
Xiaomi Play might be unveiled with 48-megapixel camera, and it is to be seen if the Xiaomi Play is the rebranded version of Pocophone F1 or a completely new smartphone, we’ll have to wait till 24th December when the company officially launched.
