DHS informed that they are “making a solid and swift progress in proposing to remove from its regulations on certain H-4 spouses of H-1B non-immigrants as a class of aliens eligible for employment authorisation”.
Ex-President Barrack Obama had introduced the concept of H-4 visa, which is a work permit granted to the spouses and children of H-1B visa holders.

For many, this will mean the end of the American dream, as they will be forced to return to India.
93% of all H-4 visa approved last year were of Indians, while 5% were of Chinese. Around 1,00,000 Indian families are expected to be directly impacted.
As per the filings made by DHS, the proposal to cancel H-4 visas will be submitted to Office of Management of Budget (OMB), White House in the next 3 months………..Read More>>
