Nokia 8110 4G ‘Banana Phone’ Launched

HMD Global has unveiled the Nokia 8110 4G aka Banana Phone in India. With the key features like 4G support, Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Search, Facebook, Twitter and other apps, the Banana Phone is based on the Kai OS just like the JioPhone and JioPhone 2.

Nokia 8110 4G was initially announced at MWC this year, but the device was finally launched in India now. HMD Global’s modern take on the ‘banana phone’ comes with the 4G support, besides the users can opt for Wi-Fi hotspot.


Nokia 8110 4G is powered by by a 1.1Ghz dual-core Qualcomm 205 mobile processor paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. There is expandable microSD slot. It is fuelled by 1,500mAh battery and the company claims that the battery lasts up to 25 hours on standby and deliver a talk time of 9.32 hours on a 4G VoLTE connection.
