Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has finally launched its own payment aggregator system, the “IRCTC iPay”.
The e-ticketing arm of the Indian Railways launched the much-awaited payment aggregator system in a bid to boost digital transactions on the platform and eliminate the need for third-party payment platforms.

IRCTC iPay to provide better digital experience, digital payment convenience
With the launch of its exclusive digital payment gateway, IRCTC aims to offer better digital experience to customers. IRCTC iPay will also provide an improved digital payment convenience to railway passengers availing travel-related services online through its portal, according to a statement by IRCTC.
Passengers will not need any third-party platforms: IRCTC
“With the launch of IRCTC iPay, the passengers will not need any third-party platforms. IRCTC iPay provides payment options like credit card, debit card, unified payment interface, international card,” IRCTC said in a statement.
