If you are fed up of endless promotional calls and messages, here is a solution – activating DND. Do Not Disturb (DND) is a cellular feature that blocks commercial/promotional communication. Good news is that one can easily activate DND on any major Indian network.
Here are simple ways in which you can turn on DND on Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL, and other networks.
How to activate DND on Airtel
First off, head to the DND page on the Airtel website.
Then, click on ‘Click here’ link on the red ‘Airtel Mobile Services’ button.
Enter your Airtel mobile number in the pop-up box.
Next, click on ‘Get One Time Password’ button.
Enter the OTP received on your phone.
Finally, select ‘Stop all’ option, and click on ‘Submit’ button.
Activate DND on Vodafone
Log on to the Vodafone DND page.
Enter the necessary details, viz. your name, Email ID, and your Vodafone mobile number.
Next, under the ‘Full DND’ option, click on ‘Yes’.
Finally, enter the screen-displayed captcha code, and click on ‘Submit’ button.
This will enable DND on your Vodafone mobile number.
Activate DND on your Jio number
To activate DND on your Jio mobile number, open My Jio app on your phone.
Next on, tap the hamburger (three bars) icon on the top-left corner of the app.
From the drop-down menu, click on ‘Settings’ option.
Next, under the ‘Service settings’ section, select ‘Do not Disturb.’
