Honor Magic 2 gets sliding camera and Bezel-less design

Huawei owned sub-brand Honor has teased an attention-grabbing device at IFA 2018. Referred as Honor Magic 2, the successor to the Honor Magic released in 2016 is very different from the latter though. While the company claims the device to have 100 percent screen-to-body ratio, with the camera being integrated into a slider that comes up as and when required.

We have previously seen the similar front-facing camera slider in the Oppo Find X, and Honor has now opted for the same strategy thus leaving a room on the front for the display to be stretched for a bezel-less display.

Honor has also revealed other key specifications of the smartphone, where the Honor Magic 2 is powered by 7nm Kirin 980 processor, which delivers 20% increased performance and 40% more efficiency compared to the previous 10nm chipset. Another interesting asset of Honor Magic 2 is the device arrives with an in-house 40W ‘Magic Charge’ (fast-charging) technology which means it packs 15-layer safety protection system and auto identification of the battery, cable, and charger for safety.
