BSNL’s Rs 1,999 broadband plan offers unlimited calling, 33GB daily data with 100Mbps speed

Reliance JioFiber broadband service recently launched a slew of plans with the launch of their high-speed broadband service in the Indian market. Now ramping up its plans is BSNL who have now added a new broadband plan to its Bharat Fiber service.

Soon after Reliance launched its JioFiber plans in India, BSNL has introduced a Rs 1,999 plan to its existing Bharat Fiber portfolio in India. The plans by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited arrived with a Rs 1,999 broadband plan which provides 33GB of daily data and also unlimited calling benefits.

This new plan joins the existing plans by BSNL in its Bharat Fiber service which features the Rs 849, Rs 1,277, Rs 2,499, Rs 4,499, Rs 5,999, Rs 9,999, and Rs 16,999. The latest Rs 1,999 plan from BSNL goes head-on with similar plans from ACT Fibernet, Airtel V-Fiber, and JioFiber Rs 2,499 plan.

BSNL has confirmed the plan will provide users with 100Mbps speed till 33GB of data per day, after which the speed will be reduced to 4Mbps.

The new plan from BSNL was first reported by TelecomTalk. The latest plan provides the user with 100Mbps of speed and up to 33GB of daily data. Post the daily FUP limit, the speed will be reduced to 4Mbps which is more than the 1Mbps speed offered by JioFiber post their FUP limit.

Even though there is a data cap of 33GB per day, BSNL is selling this plan as an unlimited data plan which is also similar to other data plans from Bharat Fiber broadband. For those who don’t know, BSNL had revised its broadband plans earlier this year and changed them to daily data plans. Apart from the data, the Rs 1,999 Bharat Fiber plan also allows the user to make voice calls using the company’s landline service.
