Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the state-owned telecom operator has been on the run up to launch its high-speed fibre-based broadband services, called Bharat Fiber. The subscribers of the telecom operator have been in a long wait as BSNL has been making an announcement in the past few weeks about the launch of the service. However, now it seems that the wait of the subscribers is over as BSNL has finally launched the Bharat Fiber high-speed data Fiber to the home (FTTH) service in India. With the launch of this service, the subscribers will be able to enjoy high speed, high volume data for seamless entertainment, browsing, video streaming gaming, work and more. BSNL wants to take on Jio GigaFiber service with the Bharat Fiber service.
Shri Vivek Banzal, Director CFA, BSNL Board remarked about the launch of BSNL’s new FTTH service and said, “Own a Bharat Fiber, if your data needs in the office or home are having entertainment, work, smart devices and all working together. We realise that now customers are demanding super-fast internet and have started owning more electronic gadgets and entertainment tools than ever before.”
The executive also said that the Bharat Fiber would be able to meet the large data demands of the consumers and it will cater to the data needs at high speeds. On top of that, the Bharat Fiber service will be affordably priced for the subscribers, the executive added.
Subscribers who opt for a Bharat Fiber connection will get data and Wi-Fi connection which will provide sufficient data for use by an entire family. Subscribers will be able to consume as much as 35GB of data per day over the Bharat Fiber connection with prices as low as Rs 1.1 per GB.
