Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the state-owned telecom operator seems to be stepping up its game as the days pass. The telco which is amidst the swamp of widening losses had described its take on customer-centric services a few months back, and since then, it is safe to say that BSNL has made plenty of revisions to its plans, launched new offers which are wildly attractive for the subscribers.
Now BSNL has also ramped up its content offerings as well along with the essential telecom services. Last we heard, the Rs 98 prepaid plan was revised, and it bundled Eros Now subscription. BSNL has now launched a new STV for Rs 298 which offers similar benefits along with Eros Now subscription but with some more quirks.
BSNL New STV 298 Offering Eros Now Subscription
The STV-298 which, as the name suggests, is available for Rs 298 for BSNL subscribers will ship 54 days of validity. In this validity period, BSNL will provide free unlimited local, STD and roaming calls to the users even to the Mumbai and Delhi circles, something which is not usual in other BSNL plans. In addition to this, BSNL will provide 1GB data per day to the subscribers after the exhaustion of which the speed will be throttled down to 40 Kbps. The STV will also bundle 100 SMS per day. The highlight of this plan is that it will even come with EROS Now Entertainment Services subscription. To recall, previously the Eros subscription was only available with the Rs 78, Rs 98, Rs 333 and Rs 444 prepaid plans only.

BSNL’s Rs 98 prepaid plan is one of the most popular ones in its portfolio.
