BlackBerry KEY2 LE With 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 636 SoC Launched

BlackBerry KEY2 LE has been made official at IFA 2018, which is referred as the toned-down version of the KEY2. The smartphone has been up for pre-order in Europe markets right after the launch, while the US launch happened only this Friday, and the next big market India launch of BlackBerry KEY2 LE will be available via Amazon Exclusive. The pre-orders of BlackBerry KEY2 LE commences on October 12.

The Indian variant of KEY2 LE is the Space Blue version with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The device comes at the price tag of INR29,990 which is about $405 or €350. The amount is low compared to the US price tag of $449, while in Europe it costs the same.


In terms of specifications, BlackBerry KEY2 LE sports a 4.5-inch full-HD+ (1080×1620 pixels) IPS LCD display with 3:2 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 434ppi. Based on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, the device is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM.

Coming to optics, BlackBerry KEY2 LE comes with dual rear camera setup, with 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF, and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture, paired with dual tone LED flash.
